Pre-ACE Programs for Students
ACE Summer Academy for 8th, 9th and 10th Graders
July 13-31, 2009. Much like the Taste of ACE Spring Break program, the ACE Summer Academy will introduce students to architecture, construction and engineering through a combination of hands-on learning, site visits and teamwork. The three-week intensive program is open to rising 8th, 9th and 10th graders from ACE's sponsoring school districts - Centennial, Gresham-Barlow, Parkrose and Reynolds. The camp will run from 8:30am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday. Lunch will be offered at no cost for students and bus passes will be available to those who need them. The camp will be open to 30 students. Female and minority students are especially encouraged to apply.
